Instance dashboard and install

v1.1.x · updated 2026-07-27

The portal “Dashboard” shows your instance’s state and links to management. It is also where personal self-hosted install links are generated.

Status and lifecycle

The status card shows a human-readable state with progress:

  • Preparing / Creating your assistant — provisioning is in progress (a “step N of M” bar is shown); the card refreshes every few seconds.
  • Your assistant is running — the instance is up and the “Open panel” button is available (it opens your instance’s Web UI).
  • Updating / Changing plan / Backing up / Restoring — service phases.
  • Payment failed / Auto-renewal off / Subscription ended — states that need attention.

The info card shows the plan, period, price, domain, next charge date and auto-renewal; from here you reach plan change, custom domain, payments, documents and profile.

How to open your assistant (cloud)

  1. Wait until the dashboard status turns “Your assistant is running” (during provisioning a “step N of M” progress bar is shown).
  2. Click “Open panel” — the web admin UI of your instance opens in a new tab at <name>.cloud.aihummer.ru.
  3. Configuration then continues inside the admin UI: create your first agent, connect a model and a channel.

Reset the managed-cloud administrator password

For a connected managed-cloud instance, the dashboard info card shows “Administrator password” → “Reset password” once the panel address is available. This action is cloud-only and does not appear for a self-hosted instance.

  1. Click “Reset password”, read the warning and confirm the action.
  2. Wait for the result window. The new password is already applied to the bootstrap admin account; its previous sessions are closed, so sign in again.
  3. Copy the login and password before closing the window. The password is shown only once. Closing the window — including with Escape — removes it from the page, and there is no password history to reopen. If you lose it, run the reset again.

[!WARNING] Save the password in a password manager before closing the result. Do not put the one-time result in a support request, chat or screenshot.

For self-hosting the portal generates a personal install link bound to your account. It gives a ready one-liner like curl -fsSL -o install.sh "<link>" && sudo bash install.sh with a copy button and an expiry (the link lasts 30 days). Next to it are a server requirements card and a link to this documentation.

An instance installed from such a link binds itself to your account automatically — there is nothing else to enter by hand. Your e-mail also becomes the instance’s verified contact right away.

Self-hosted mode and the instance card

As soon as you mint an install link the portal switches into self-hosted mode: cloud-only sections (plan, cloud payments, custom domain) are hidden and the dashboard shows the “Continue the installation” progress — the portal waits for the instance to register.

Once bound, the dashboard shows the instance card: state (online/offline), the installed core version, the last-seen time and the subscription status. If the instance is uninstalled, the binding is removed and the portal returns to the cloud/self-hosted path choice.

Channel selection

If several install channels are available, a switcher is shown; the stable channel is recommended by default. Switching channel hides the previous link — each channel mints its own.

If it didn’t work

  • The “Preparing…” status hangs — provisioning usually takes a few minutes; the card refreshes itself. If a “Payment failed” state appears, retry payment on the order screen.
  • No “Open panel” button — it appears only in the “Your assistant is running” state; during service phases (updating, plan change, backup) it is temporarily hidden.
  • A self-hosted instance shows offline — check that the service is running on your server (systemctl status aihummer-gateway) and has network access; once connectivity is restored the card updates the last-seen time.
  • The portal is stuck on “Continue the installation” — the instance hasn’t registered yet; finish the install per the guide. While no binding exists you can return to the cloud/self-hosted path choice.
